The "Blasinstrumenten-Atelier" started business on the 1 March 1985 in very small facilities in Buchs near Aarau (Switzerland). Thomas Inderbinen worked on his own. He repaired woodwinds and brass and traded in all different brands. Very soon his business grew bigger and he needed an employee and an apprentice for the repairwork. In August 1988 he moved in bigger premises to present all his goods he had on stock. Besides adjustments and total revisions he started modifying trumpets. As he was not totally satisfied with this work he soon started making his own trumpets. At the end of the eighties the first Bb- and C-trumpets were on the market. Many famous musicians supported Thomas Inderbinen with their experience also for all the instruments which followed.

In the meantime INDERBINEN brass and woodwinds manufacture handmade trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns, trombones, tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, flutes and euphoniums. In February 1994 the company moved in bigger facilities and many musicians from all styles, beginners and professionals, music bands, ensembles, classical and jazz players, frequent the shop.
